delta doent give you lunch now on the atlanta to sjo flight now, peanuts or cookies only. You can buy a roast beef sandwich for eight dollars or a little can of pringles for three, no more free cocktail with your now nonexistant meal, however you can purchase for six dollars what was last week five. maybe they should raffle off an inflight session or two to make up the shortfall.

The flight attendants should raffle off free handjobs to offset customer frustration with the new policies.

As an aside, on my return flight from CR yesterday, Delta will no longer be serving lunch on their flights (didn't ask if it applied to dinner as well, but I suppose it does), even if your ticket states that lunch would be served. When I questioned the Flight Attendent she said to take the matter up with the gate agent upon arrival. This was a new policy effective 7-01-08.

That Really Sucks for all the people that thought they were getting a meal on the plane because their reservation and ticket indicated as such so they did not eat breakfast.

Many people don't eat before the flight so they will pass the plane ride faster by eating airline food.

They should have put a sign up at the boarding door.

I always eat a large breakfast before flights, and I try to schedule early afternoon departures from SJO so I can take advantage of the hotel's buffet. I've also been taking more substantial snacks onboard with me, things like Powerbat Harvests and bags of dried fruit and cinnamon almonds.

It is a BYOB, carry-on, picnic basket, personal electronic music/movie/personal computer of choice system on battery kind of world.

I like the window seat best. How 'bout you? :?:

Beverages available on demand, just click the flight attendent button above your head next to the A/C and light. :D

SMILE and Have Some Fun, you might like it and so will they you too

Have your credit/debit card available. Perhaps a fist full of small coins and bills

Enjoy the ride Kind Gentlemen - Upgrade to 1st or Bidnez Class 8)

And book the next flight out to release that stress :P

8) :D :P  :!:

What if you don't pay for a particular seat, do you have to sit on the floor?

I have a couple ideas to raise revenue:
-$5 for the first time you open the overhead bin, $2 each time thereafter, or you can keep your carry-on on your lap for free
-shut off air conditioning to save fuel, and charge to turn on the fans at each seat, 5¢/minute
-blanket/pillow/headphone rental
-priority deplaning ($15 to get off in group 1, $10 group 2, and so on)

Middle seats are free but that's all.

I think I heard they were installing coin operated lavatory door locks and toilet paper dispensers too. Also there is an express check in line for $20 now at FLL. The cans of coke are $3 but if you decline the plastic cup with ice it's only $2.00. You can also now get an extra 4 inches of RECLINE on your seat for $5.00 more...

The flight attendants (FAs) look at me like I'm cheap but I always try and buy my snacks, water etc. in the airport once I pass security. Expensive but still half what the plane charges. One FA was incredibly rude to me and my co-passenger on a flight to San Antonio last month. I hope the bitch is fired first when they do the layoffs. The she can suck my C*ck for only the $10 I would pay her. jajajajajaja

Also connecting flights thru FLL must suck. That terminal is so narrow and crowded with people tripping over one another.

Middle seats booked online at the time you make your reservation are $5.00. Only seats that are no charge are those assigned at the airport.

On Tuesday a friend of mine booked a flight on Spirit in late August on the 11:00 pm flight from FLL-SJO. The next day, yesterday, he checked his reservation only to learn that he had been switched to the 11:00 am flight because Spirit has now stopped running the late night flights. He called Spirit and they told him to cancel his flight if he did not like it. Problem is Spirit charges a $80.00 cancellation fee. So far they wont waive the fee. What a bunch of low rent schmucks.

PS. if you have a late night flight reservation better check it to make sure flight is still running.

I took the red eye back to FLL earlier this morning (12:55am) The chica at the counter gave me 7B but I asked for an aisle afterwards and she gave me 9C. Flight was pretty full but left on time. No issues except big guy from Peru was in 9B. Upside to this flight is NO traffic to SJO and no lines at security. Downside is no duty free licor. Long line at immigration at FLL with flight from Honduras arriving same time. BTW some of the Honduras chicas were HOT  Guess I wasn't all that jetlagged...

So yes I'll still fly Spirit. Moosecock and all! :)

Thank God for American Airlines. :D I've had very few problems over the last 3 years. :) Southwest is starting to fly into Central America sometime in late 08. :D I hope for non-stop out of Tampa. Spirit will be out of business before 2010. Anyone looking to buy some A320's with low hours?
