The DHC-6 (Twin Otter) has been around for years and years, and is also very reliable.

Hopefully, Nature Air is not flying the first ones ever built.

Can not rule out the possibility.

From November - December issue of nature Air's official magazine "Nature Landings".

"At Nature Air, We are proud to continue the rich tradition of exploration and adventure of the Twin Otter, opening up remote destinations that previously where only reachable by long and difficult journeys over land. Nature Air has the largest fleet of Twin Otters in Central America. Our aircraft have come from destinations as far away as the Grand Canyon, Canada, Samoa and even Australia."

Speaking of weight....I'm up to 275 & Nature air says double charge at 250 pounds, anyone ever have to deal with that in reality???

I got great on the return from Bocas ($36) but the flight down is Elite at $108. Hate to double up, boy the reasons to lose weight just keep on coming at me. Maybe paying double is good encouragement!

John - I can tell you they do weigh you but I always thought that was just so they knew exactly how much weight the plane was taking on. All decked out I would be pretty close to the 250 and I never had a problem. If its in the fine print they could give you a hard time but I bet they won't.

good luck

Thanks Link...yea, maybe it depends on the weight situation for the flight that particular flight. Either way, guess Miller Lite instead of Sam Adams is in order!
