i asked the attendant at the AA desk in FLL, she said that travelers would able to use the self check-in kiosks to travel internationally out of FLL very soon!

Location: Sex Felony State (most other places p4p is just a regular daily activity!)
I feel for you but Spirit is not the only airline that does this. My recent trip to Locolombia MIA-CTG they also didn't open the bag check in until 3 hrs. prior to fly time so had to keep my bags with me a little while longer. Luckily they were small and were on rollers so easy to transport.

Was on Avianca (good on time performance so far in 2 flights).

I had been a Spirit fan after several flights with no problem. But I found out on my last flight what happens when they have a canceled flight or something- they just SUCK, out loud.

The guy at the airport tells me I have to call customer service to get a voucher, then the guy at customer service tells me I can only make changes to my flight BY GOING BACK TO THE AIRPORT! I have never heard anything as stupid from a reservations/customer service dept. They actually say these things with a straight face. I couldn't even get their reservations to help me issue a voucher on one they canceled- it's a lie to get you to keep your flight so they don't have to issue a refund- Sad and dishonest.
