I may be in San Jose for a few hours with nowhere to stay for a number of hours. This will be my first time there.

I am flying in EARLY and may not be able to check into hotel until 3PM.

Any massage parlor OK to use to be able to crash and clean up at for five or six hours.

Related questions are: Is there a place to secure valuables??? Can I go there with luggage???

Thanks.

You know most hotels will let you check your bags with them. I would not do it at the HDR, but between the Clarion, Holiday Inn, or SL (especially if you are going to be staying at one of the aforementioned properties) you should be fine.

Just go to ZB and tell the chicas napping in the sauna to move over and make room for one more...

You may actually want to grab a girl somewhere and head over to Motel Eden - the popular "love motel". Great facilities, and after doing the deed you can hang out and catch some Zzz's relatively inexpensively. The cab drivers all know where it is.

If I owned a massage parlor, I would tell you this is a place of business, not a hotel and then I would ask you to leave, unless you wanted to get laid and rent a room with chica for several hours.

Maybe you should have planned better.

I'm just thinking about this, but what is the check in time for SL? I will be arriving around 2 pm with the Interbus ride. Would I be ok on my room or will I need to hang somewhere for a couple hours?

Wow....thats a pretty harsh response to a newbie who has asked a simple question. Its his first trip and he doesn't yet know the in's and outs of CR. Looks like he has planned well as he booked a hotel but will not be able to check in until 3.

Jaywalker......Motel Eden is your best bet.

Aside from the fact that it is a harsh response, I wonder why he assumes that going somewhere to crash and doing it with a woman are mutually exclusive of one another.

The last refuge of a small mind is to call someone else stupid.

I truly apologize if my prior post came across as being unduly harsh. I had taken some offense to what I felt was being attacked for asking a simple and question on a subject that I have no direct experience with.

(And this is beside the fact that the response seemed to intentionally distort the question that I was asking. I don't know why it would be assumed that someone going to a massage parlor to relax doesn't plan on relaxing with a woman.)

I have stopped at ZB on my way to the airport. Management was nice enough to store my luggage in the little room next to the front desk. My suggestion would be to go to your hotel first and drop off your luggage, and see what time they could have your room ready. If it's going to be several hours, go to ZB and just ask the desk if you can pay a little extra and crash in the room after your session. I'm sure they could work something out for you.

Check your initial post where you said

given the use of term "crash" and the length of time indicated "five or six hours" I can easily understand why someone would come to the conclusion that your plan was not to spend the time with an masseuse of the MP.
