They have like 14 rooms.
They were full so we couldn't see a room.

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Posedion recently?

The food is great! At least the Tuna Steak. My gang and I ate there twice this last week for dinner. We all had the Tuna. It's that good! They give you a huge chunk of Tuna. So we always skip the appertizers. We always leave stuffed. It comes with some fresh veggies and mashed potatoes.

I have stayed ther a couple times, and will NEVER stay there again. The over charging,shitty showers, dogs swimming in pool,or barking all day and night, begging at the table in the resterant. The grounds are dirty,the hot tub look's as if it was filled with tea. The food was good, and they did let us use the BBQ as we had brought some food with us and we cooked Mahia we caught. But the service sucks in general unless you want the white stuff, then they are all over you asking 30 times a day.
I stay at Cocal now,and before the Copa. The only problem there is the lack of TV's.

Yeah right..., If you are speaking about Poseidon you are smoking crack.. Whether you like the hotel or not it is nothing like your description.

Cocal...should be able to book a room for around $60 to $80. Clean good showers, no chica fees. Beach side you should be able to get for around a hundo.

I need to go check out the rooms at Cocal. I hear consistent good reviews and occasionally need backup hotels for clients. There is a hotel on the beachfront, I believe it is called Hotel 9. I hear it will be set up to be very chica friendly, with pool and bar. It might be pricey though. Will update when I get some info.

i was in jaco a few weeks back with a buddy and we crashed at poseidon for a night. it was rather nice, food was awesome.

Stayed in Cocal in Jan. $140 per nite beach front. No guest fees. Two nice pools. Rooms very small bed very small. No tv in room. Felt very safe on the grounds at nite.

I liked the Cocal.
