You should be OK at the Pres unless your chica has been banned. Last time I stayed there I brought back a chica from the KL at about 2:00am. She was dressed no more slutty than some of the gringas I have seen at the bar at the Pres but they would not let her in because she was wearing a skirt. We took a cab back to her place so she could change and then there was no issue. I also checked in a Tica once as if she was with me and I hd no issue with that. They even gave her a room key (which she promptly handed to me once we left the front desk)

IMHO, the Pres is the cleanest and nicest hotel I have stayed at in CR. If I were not a monger it would be the place to stay.

To stay or not to stay depends on your mongering habits. If you want to drag 10 chicas/day back to your room, the DR would be more expensive with all the chica fees but it would be a lot handier.

There are really so many variables involved that you'd be better off doing a search and a lot of reading about the various hotels and then make a choice.

The only thing you have to worry about is the dress code. They rejected my chica because her dress wuz 4 or 5 inches above her knees. They sent me across the street where I purchased her a pair of jeans (22,000 colones) If this happens, go 1 block south where there is less expensive jeans and save some colones.

I have not stayed at the Morazan but I have heard good things about it. It is located next to the Key Largo so it is a quick walk from the DR and is chica-friendly.

If I recall right, ChiliMike has said he stays there alot and has had good experiences. You might PM him if you have specific questions.

The Sleep Inn is also next to the DR but I think they have a $20 chica fee or something like that.

As far as I know, the Pres, Sleep Inn, amd Morazan are the only three hotels within 1-2 blocks of the HDR.

There is also the Hotel Asia, which is a short stay joint. I think 5,000CRC for one hour. I believe is it one block south of the HDR but I don't recall as it has been a few months since I was there. It was clean enough and got the job done so if you stayed in a hotel outside of the area this is a deent option to avoid dragging your chica back.

If this is your first trip to SJ you are probably better off staying at the HDR. It is easy. Some guys seem to feel uneasy about leaving the HDR with a chica - like they don't want the desk clerk at their hotel to know what the deal is. The HDR caters to mongers and they have seen it all. This makes for easy fishing.

but the DR couldn't accmodate us 3 rooms, so
I'll try the sleep inn.
I don't need the presidente to turn my chica away

I have never stayed at the Sleep Inn but I did talk to a gentleman once who did. He said that you can leave through a back entrance to the Sleep Inn and get to the hotel without having to go out onto the public street.

I went as far as the lobby once but could not stay as they were full. The lobby did look pretty nice though. I would expect that the rooms are similar to what you might find in the USA.

I would not book three rooms in the Pres. With three different guys bringing back chicas - especially if you have three guys bringing back three chicas at once, you are likely to get one turned away.

Another thing to consider is that the Pres only allows one chica per room so if you want a M-F-F experience, you are better off finding some place else.

Good luck

harry ..stay away from the sleep inn...at first look you will think your still in the usa...all i can say from the places that i have stayed..the morazan is fun, cheap and if your in town to bang ticas...drink and gamble ...its the place to stay ..dont eat there ..but have fun inthe casino and drink at the bar ....and if you bet sports ..they will take good care of you...my room was always clean , if i ask for extra towels ..i got them ...the old lady who ids the night maid...if i called would iron my shirt and make it look like i just got it from the dry cleaners ....i found some great pu*sy sitting down on the bench at 4 am for 40.00 and never once did they let a girl leave my room without calling me first ..to get my ok..
i have never stayed at the pres...so i cant make a call ..but all the bullshit of the dress code would rule them out for me...i got smart and i book early at the sportmen as it has more to offer and it is cleaner and the food at the sportmen seals the deal for me..but again if you want to have a pu*sy phucking time ..morazen fits the bill better than all the rest ...one time i see a working girl walk past my room (i had my door open ) she gives me a double look ...and i say "blow job " she says sure ...i say i only have 20.00 and its on....you wount fine that at the sleep inn ..

I wouldn't recommend the Sleep Inn. $25 per chica and I got the impression they weren't down with all my activities. You should be fine at the Presidente . When I stayed there, I would always tell the girl right away to see if she was banned from there. I used to stay at the DR but the smoke comes in all the rooms so now I stay at Hotel Freebird.

Stay at the Pres. it will be fine. Still a great place. You can easily walk to the Del Rey for 2 blocks. I never take a cab but you can at night if you want.

If the girl is not allowed in the Pres. you don't want her there. She is not allowed because she is trouble. This is a good thing for you.

I don't want to get into a debate about dress code. I would just say don't let this deter you. I have a friend staying there now after I told him about it and he really likes it.

I am a CR Morazon supporter as well. One of the best choices for a mongering hotel in San Jose, imo. The staff takes good care of you. No Presidente "we hate mongers" bs. I talked to CR Morazon management last time I visited CR. The top brass, all the way up to the owners, are well aware of where thier bread is buttered, so to speak. As long as the rooms keep booked up (which they do, consistently) then things will stay as they are. The Presidente staff should take a walk up the street for some lessons from these guys.

That used to be the case when I was there over a year ago, but on my last trip I brought back with me a girl that I have known since my first trip and they would not let her in. They wouldn't allow her as a guest, nor checking her in. Their words. "she is not allowed in this hotel."

I asked them why? They didn't know. No reason, just baned. I will never, every stay at the presidente ever again. I'll stay at the SL or the CA...

I stayed at The Sleep Inn back in August and will be there from 1/30-2/02. Also stayed at the Presidente in August, but preferred Sleep Inn -- nicer rooms, nicer gambling facility. Right next door to HDR. The chica fee ($25) is a downer, but I'm getting a free night at the hotel (sign up for their credit card and you get 8,000 free points, good enough for a free night). So I have 3 nights in a very nice hotel for $188, with a very nice buffet breakfast.

Don't know as to their acceptance of ALL chicas, but I did see some hot ones there in August.
