Yes she is, I was contacted by her guest house in or near Escazu me via CostaRicaLiving for more information on my dental surgeon who she referred one of her customers to.

Notice she is not a VIP, more than likely trying to drum up business for her guest house. The pictures are nice.

Not SPAM at all. She is a very motivated person who has complied a resource list that she hopes helps people find thing in CR. There is no financial gain i it for her. She is very active on various Costa Rica discussion groups and tries to be helpful.

If the advertisement/link for her place wasn't so obvious in her signature line I might agree.

IMO its fine.

She gave some useful info, so in a way its a trade-off for a one time "advertisement" in a sense; if you even want to put it that way.

I personally didnt even notice it

The same motive that has her compile a list of food places, including phone numbers, that deliver in Escazu, recommending taxistas, movers, real estate agents, etc. that she has dealt with and treated a gringa fairly and did not rip her off. All these, before she opened her guest house, and were posted on various Costa Rica discussion boards.

Give someone a break Paco. There are good people in this world who like to help others.

I noticed it and it starts out reading like spam, hell SJO has had free wi-fi for how long now? She has no business here and we have nothing to offer her so she should be banned along with every other gringa that registers here.
