Friends, please take care of these two gentlemen. I've tried to impart all the knowledge I have about CR in one evening over 3 or 2 beers and dinner. But reading Smelvis' post has led me to believe I failed in the etiquette department. I'm believing they will BOTH exit the plane with their d***s in their hand, or worse yet, each other's! If you can't tame them, send them back and I'll bring one at a time with me starting in Nov or Dec. Thanks gents!

I will be there Aug 6-9. Not my first trip so I know some places to get in trouble at.

Back in San Jose on 7/31. Staying @ SL w/2 wingmen- 1 seasoned vet, Speedy & 1 newbie. Another newbie shows up on 8/1. Look forward to smoking a cigar with you.

As to an earlier post about what to bring back to US- Don't bring back anything that customs can't take away from you.

If you want Cohibas, stay away from the street vendors. They are fake and made right up the road from SJ. Try one of the smoke shops. Even ZB has a good selection, a bit pricey, but what the heck.

Hope to see you. We arrive on AA @ 1:15 pm out of DFW on the dreaded 2163. Should be at the bar by 3:00 pm.

If you haven't read the info about the airport, stop by the Duty Free at the bottom of the stairs, after customs, while you wait for you luggage. Get a bottle of rum, Centanarrio, Flora de Cana or Ron Zacapa. All great to sip on. Don't bruise with coke.

Will be arriving late on the 31st. How about having a general meet up on the 1st? Say 8pm at Pantera Rosa? Or anybody have better suggestions?
I am new to CR but have been mongering around the world for about 5 years. My trip buddy has about 6 years of mongering and alot of trips to CR under his belt. Would be great to meet up with as many people as interested for drinks and to compare notes. Anybody in? Pm or post if you are interested. I do these meet ups in TJ alot (have 100's visits to TJ in the last few years) and most guys seem to enjoy getting together to compare strategies, etc.

Smelvis and I get in-country around noon on the 31st, and I just scheduled a dental appointment for that afternoon, late . . .

The evening of the 1st sounds good to me. Since smelvis will be online we can check messages to stay in touch also.

Pantera Rosa the 1st at 8pm, We will look a bit like Mutt & Jeff I'm the big blond guy he's the slender sandy haired guy, Dressed casual nice. Will be good to meet you guy's.

Smelvis or Ice9 will be back on for an update, but Pantera Rose doesn't open until 10:00 p.m. and the girls don't start until 10:30. Not a good place to meet up. Best place is the Sportsmens! Have fun.

Since Ice has an appt with pearly white Dr., you can join me and 2 wingmen for drinks @ SL tomorrow afternoon. We arrive @ 2:10 pm, probably @ SL by 3:30. I'll be smokin cigars, tall, probably have on some kinda of Columbia fishing shirt/shorts, short hair, glasses.

If you are a newbie, I will take you over to ZB for a look & you can partake if you like. Will buy you a drink, but you gotta pay for the rent of your own Chica.
