I am about to make my Glorious return to the Land of Milk and Honeys June 19-22 (possibly extending the trip to the 25th). I have not been in 3 & 1/2 long years. I used to go every couple months and then Life got in the way.

I used to post here as Vortec I believe and on another CR site as Thanatos. I think one of trip reports at that other site was voted one of the best of the year if I remember correctly. Some of you may remember me.

When I used to go often, I generally stayed at the Morazon or Presidente. Preferred the Morazon because I could bring more than one Guest back if I wanted and the rates were great. (But the MOrazon always lost my reservation and now I hear the presidente is getting picky about who you can and cant bring back to your room). I did most of my Hunting at the Key Largo back then. I didn’t care for the high pressure sales at Del Rey (Although it was usually the same girls going back and forth). The DR girls were just starting to ask for Cein but rarely if ever got it. I usually was able to find grade A DR Girls for $50 and never more than $80. Also I always made a point to goto the Hotel Park for the Show while I was there

This trip, My Wingman and I wanted to get a Large 2 Bed room suite with a Jacuzzi somewhere convenient to the action. Tried SL first after all the great stuff I read here on them (I dont think they existed when I used to go) but they said the Penthouse suite was already booked.

Now I am looking at the Master Suite at the Presidente but I am worried about finding my dream Hotties and them not letting her in. Also their One Guest rule sucks.

I got lots of questions hopefully someone a little more current can help me out with.

1)Where else can I get a Nice suite (with Juccizi) that doesnt charge guest fees and allows you bring more than one guest?

2) Is the Key Largo still a good option to find Semi Pros?

3)Now that the Hotel Park is no more.. Any shows in town anything like the old Park show?

4)Anyone else going to be around those dates? Grab some Imperials and tell some stories about the good old days?

5)The Cein problem.. is it an absolute now at the DR?

I know this is a lot of questions for a first post, But I appreciate any and all advise you guys can give.

I'll go ahead and take a crack at these:

1) Your best option for a jacuzzi room without guest hassles - albeit a pricey one - is probably Hotel M in Barrio Dent. Check out this link for more info:

2) Regarding semi-pros in Key Largo - yes possibly, and still a less hardcore, more relaxed scene than the Del Rey. But as always, mostly a matter of luck and timing.

3) There was a guy running shows out of the Europa Hotel for a while in 2005, but that also fizzled out, and I'm not aware of anything else to come along since then.

4) Not me - but I'm sure there's a few in the roll calls.

5) No absolutes in the Del Rey - but recent reports are that the girls have upped the starting price to $120. Of course with some selectivity, bargaining, and timing, deals no doubt can still be had.

I looked into Hotel M but it seem a little pricey and further away. Right now I have the rooms narrowed down to the Two BR Suite at the Clarion Amon, a Suite at the Zona Blue or Jr. suite at SL (Just waiting back to hear exactly which rooms are available there, If it is Illusion I will probably take that and a regular room for the wingman ).

Anyone ever stay in the suite at the Clarion Amon? How does it compare to the others?

Do a search using clarion or amon plaza in the subject area and Igualmente as the author. That'll give you an unbiased viewpoint of the Amon Plaza

Seriously though, many people might chime in, but your best bet is to search the reviews to see what people have said over the years and not just what is said in response to your inquiry. Myself, I like the place!

My most recent trip I spent 4 nights there. The first and foremost rule about staying there is book your reservation through the casino. I am sure someone has the phone number and email to Nixon in the casino. I have it also, just not with me right now. Booking through the casino will get a discounted rate that includes all taxes and fees and waives the chica fee!! The chica fee is...uh ...$25. Which I paid on my last trip. But, had I booked through the casino, it would have been waived.

As for the hotel. The staff is great. Free breakfast, quiet and spacious room. Electronic safe, wireless internet that is free. One block from ZB, which is a big plus. I would not say they are exactly chica friendly but more chica tolerant. Overall, I liked the place alot and will likely stay there again but I will CERTAINLY book through the casino.

I guess I wasn’t real clear on that last question. I did search and read all the reviews and various opinions on The Amon before I posted the question..

What I was asking was has anyone stayed in their 2 BR SUITE and how does it compare to the suites at the SL and ZB?

I stayed in a Presidente jacuzzi suite in Sept. Very Nice and a good price with the CRT discount. I did not have any trouble having girls admitted. They all new the rules and would put on jackets when at the front desk and we did not have any problems (5 different girls).

cant compare the prez master suite to the other places but it is a good stay. I cant gaurentee it but I believe the master suite is allowed two guest at worst you and your wingman have seperate tagteams
ps the 8 chica jacuzzi provide plenty of room for creative manuevers

I've stayed at the Amon 3 times, each time in the Jr. Suite. I have never known anyone who has stayed in the 2 BR suite and have never heard any reports or reviews about it.

When I booked the suite at the pres with a wingman I told them up front we are paying for 2 guests in the suite and each of us are bringing up a girl at the same time.. No problem. Never even had a desk clerk question it on the entire trip . That was a few years back however and the pres had gotten a little hoity toity so who knows. I'd call reservations and just tell them thats what you want and see what they say.
