Well the unthinkable for NY fans happened. The Yankees lost to the Detroit Tigers. Being originally from Boston myself,I'm not sure if the fans there are happier when the Red Sox win or when the Yankees lose.

Good thing they have Alex Rodriguez. How many championships did they win with Arod :?: :shock: :lol: See Ya Joe Torre (how quickly they fall) :o :lol: :lol:

Yep...those Tigers are for real. Went to my first Tiger game in 25 years this past summer at the new stadium and got Tiger fever again. I hadnt much to cheer about since 85 with them :cry: . Now we'll see if they can get to the series. Should be fun to watch.

No tears for the yankees...ever

LOL it's funny a Red Sox fan started this thread when they finished 3rd in the AL East. See you next weekend VB
