Occasionally I have seen postings from a guy coming to Costa Rica who would like to find a few others to share a day of fishing on a charter.

It seems, that for one reason or another, they are usually unsuccessful. I ran across this site that tries to line groups up. The costs seem to be about what a charter company would charge if you got your own group together and made all the arrangements. This company does all the work and the neat part is if you have 4 guys sign up at $250.00 a man and one no shows your cost is still $250.00 not $333.00 as it would be if you made the arrangements.

Maybe you fisherman should check it out and if it seems to be something that might work for you bookmark it for future reference.

PS: I am not affiliated with them and get no commission.

Many of the hotels will take care of your reservation also. Price varies, depending on the size of the boat. Average cost is around $750 - $800 for full day charter. Some of the bigger boats will charge as much as $1,200 per day, but I've seen many smaller boats for $600 - $700 per day. Either way, you'll have a great time. There's nothing like getting a thorough weenie-wash by a beautiful chica while you're tangling with a nice sailfish!
