I have a few questions regarding craps in San Jose. Can you guys tell me which casinos in the downtown area have the popular craps tables? Are the tables crowded? Does the Horseshoe still have craps or not? How many times odds can you bet at these places? Answers to any or all of these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Horseshoe best dealers in town.. game for action is hit or miss, only played in US DOllars.. Colonial always has action and they will open it up for you if you want and there is no action open 24 hours.. Both Colones & Dollars are used.. Dealers are weak and have a tendency to be short sided on the payoffs so watch out.. I don't think they do it intentionally they just are lousy.... Holiday Inn, was there a couple of times but not recently NEVER any action. Hope this helps. |

They also have a regular game at the new Fiesta near the airport. Still a green dealing team, but it is the biggest newest casino to hit the SJ scene and worth a trip. They also have poker after 9PM most nights. Pretty high stakes game though. |

Horseshoe best dealers in town.. game for action is hit or miss, only played in US DOllars.. The horseshoe does have the best dealers. The pitboss name is Terry, and usually opens the craps game around 5 pm. He is a American. The odds were 3-4-5. I played last thanksgiving. Terry has some big players that come in there to play craps. The owner of Horseshoe is a big time Poker player, and has been on world series of poker. Players fly in to play him heads up in poker. I think best place for craps. |

Chiroterry...Terry has not worked at the Horseshoe for a few months now. The game is still there though...with spotty play action. Chi Guy... Fiesta Casino is now the liveliest highest stakes game in town. Usually doesnt get off until 9PM and goes until the wee hours. It is $2-5 No Limit Holdem. Buyin is $100-500 your choice with rebuys anytime. Not for the faint of heart or short bankroll. It is full of action normally...with some of the CR pros now starting to sit in the game. The horseshoe is a much tamer game and lower stakes. |

I am staying at the Hampton Inn Suites directly across from Fiesta there by the airport from Nov.13 (afternoon) to Nov. 18 (heading back to SL in the evening). Let me know if you would like to kick back there. They have a Denny's attahced to Fiesta and a Rostis Pollos next door as well if you get hungry. |
