Post subject: | Cariari Golf Course |
I fugure I can't live on booze and sex alone while in SJO, and it so happens that my hotel has the only 18 hole championship golf course in Central America. I plan on partaking on creating divots in their beautiful golf course and the greens fee seems reasonable, but they require caddie for $20 per person. What's up with that? I'm hoping they have some good looking Ticas as caddies. Do any of you veterans have any more info to share? Thank you! |

The Cariari is NOT the only championship course in Central America. However if you can afford thir room rate the greens fees will be pocket change for you. Take a look at this link, It should give you the information you need. As for chicas it's BYOB http://www.worldgolf.com/travel/cosrica.html |

Cariari is an insteresting area/hotel. They've got a casino, golf course and pool side restaurant/bar. Nice to be away from the city. A few years ago they had a bad mosquito problem. Similar to puntarenas. |

As of the last time i talked with friends from Golf Costa rica the Hotel Carrari still does not have playing privalges at the Carrari. There is a problem between the club and hotel (managers don't get along) the only hortel that allpws play is the Herreadura. Try parque valle del sol they have a gringo rate 75 unlimted play. No tee times to non ticos on weekends before 11 am. Contact Dave at Golf Costa rica WWW.golfcr.com toll free from the states 1-877-258-2688 tell murph says hi he'll set you up. |

I played at the Parque Valle del Sol, which is not far at all from San Jose in Santa Ana, the green fees were very reasonable (forgot exact number) caddie was optional (but cheap) and I rented a brand new set of Yonex for like $15. I liked the course alot. |
