Why would you want to do that in the first place? As an 'old New Englander' (I have many relatives from the coast of Maine), I've long known that the best lobster comes from Maine.

I tried this 25 years ago.
I used my own plane and bought 2,000 pounds of lobster.
Either I didn't know who to bribe (la mordida) or I was stepping on somebodies toes.
It spoiled in the airplane while I was waiting for 'permits".
The US law says if frozen, no problem in consumer quantities.
