Greetings,

What odds can I take on a pass line bet at the casino at the Amon Hotel. Single, double or 3x,4x,5x. Also, do the table minimums change based on the time of day like Vegas?

Amons Crap game is usually not happening.
Horseshoe 3x , 4x, 5x Odds 5 Dollar Minimum all the time
Colonial you can play in colones or dollars 1$ minimum and 2 x odds.

HAVE FUN!
The shoe has the best crap game per say.

Are you sure that's correct? 2X odds on the pass line is one of the best
bets in casino gambling, while 3X, 4X or 5X odds would lower the House advantage to almost zero percent (50/50).

ABSOLUTELY 100% POSITIVE They adopted Vegas / AC style rules 3, 4, 5 times odds over 8 months ago.. Played there less than 2 weeks ago using specs indicated.

This 3,4,5 odds payout was done to speed the game up in casinios in Las Vegas & in AC the more rolls outweigh the smaller house percentage.

Example
5 Pass line or come bet Point Or # 6/8 with 5 Times odds Pays $35.00
5 Pass line or come bet point or # 5/9 with 4 times odds pays $35.00
5 Pass line or come bet point or # 4 / 10 with 3 times ods pays $35.00
---------------
The dealer if the player plays max odds doesn't have to think about the pay off just pay it as all payoffs regardless of the point are the same. This drastically speeds up the game and more rolls equal more money.
-------------
You really want to piss them off, use different odds for each point.. That will not only drag the game to a halt but but piss everyone else off at the tble too.

There is no house advantage on odds bets.

The payoff on odds is based on the true odds. It's the best bet in a casino.

From The Wizard of Odds:
Taking the Odds
"Have you ever wanted a bet with no house edge? Craps offers just such a bet, as long as you bet on the pass line first. Once a point has been thrown you may bet up to some multiple, usually 2 times, your pass line bet on the 'odds.' The odds are simply an additional wager that the point will be rolled before a 7. Because the probability of the point being rolled first is less than 50% you win more than you bet if it happens. Specifically if the point is a 6 or 8 the odds pay 6-5, if the point is a 5 or 9 the odds pay 3-2, and if the point is a 4 or 10 the odds pay 2-1."

Of course you have to make a pass line bet in order to bet the odds. The link below has a chart showing the house advantage base on a pass line bet and the odds.
