It has been quite some time since I posted to the site. My business partner is planning on going with me to Costa Rica on my next visit. He is a fairly high stakes gambler. Are there any hotels at any beach that play blackjack, not rummy? If not blackjack then how about Carribbean Stub? Also there any new places in San Jose to play blackjack? I know about the Horseshoe and the small casino next to the Presidente.

Thanks for the help.

Can't speak about the beaches but the casino at Hotel Amon Plaza will deal blackjack.

It will be tough to find blackjack at the beaches. Tute (Caribbean stud) might be your best bet over there. Sometime the colonial Casino will spread blackjack for high stakes players. Otherwise, Casino Paradiso and Horseshoe are probably your best bets.

I would stay away from any small beach casino , have heard from ticos that its a crooked deck/shoe. Maybe they just ran bad and lost but i heard it from 3 different people on different occasions. Went to 2 casinos in manuel antonio
no bj but they had carribean stud , puntarenas had 1 casino again no bj just rummy. Casino europa in the radisson in san jose still spreads blackjack though, 15$ min if im not mistaken.
