I am planning a trip to CR this summer for Golf and a lot of extracurricular mongering. Can anyone advise on the best location for both golf and extra entertainment. Should we stay in San Jose or go to Jaco and stay at or around the Marriott.

Thanks

Hello, I am also seeking golf answers. Is getting a tee time difficult, what to expect to pay for green's fees, club rental cost?

Since I will be traveling on to Panama and do not want to lug my clubs, anyone know if it's possible to ship the clubs back home and at what cost?

maybe I bring a set of clubs and leave them with somebody for possible future trips. Any or all info greatly apprciated.

From what I remeber from the September trip the Green Fees are $65 for non residents and rental was $25-and they were good clubs-Taylor Made/Callaway quality.Perhaps a PM to TMan will get you more info.

Best info on any golf call Dave at Golf Costa Rica he can set it up for you. Cariari is the hard one very private course but great track. Only one hotel has connection for play. Unless you know member. 40 fees plus caddy another 20 , Los Reyes is open to public on certain days during the week nice nine hole track great 19 th hole next to pool, Valle parque del Sol
has a heavey no local fee of 75 dollars i think unlimted play however with cart included. Los Suenos in Jaco is also good but course condition maybe so-so Northern courses he can arrange it for you.
Have dealt with him for over 5 years now Great guy but an Eagles fan from Philly Go Pats Will be in town 2/3-2/6 will play at Los reyes on Friday and valle parque del sol on Sat. Also check out the biker bar near to parque great place I think the only Harley bar in CR
