Hi, I'm looking for a doctor that specializes in foot/ankle parts. My mom has a swollen ankle for years and they don't know what the heck is going on with her. Could be arthritis, not sure. We seen on the news about a new thing called Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy. Has anyone heard of this type of procedure in CR? I thank you for your time. Superman |

Don't know if this will help or not, as his primary area of specialization is hand surgery, but Dr. Fabrizio Picado was of help to me on some spinal column and arm issues. Fortunately, I didn't need surgery. He got his medical degree from Harvard Med, was on the staff of Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston for seven years and speaks perfect English.
