Full day trip to various locations Nice scenic drive through towns and plantations Irazu Volcano National Park Los Angeles Cathedral in the city of Cartago Beautiful Orosi Valley Orosi colonial church Hotel pick-up and drop-off Inclusions Round trip transportation Bilingual guide Irazu Volcano entrance fee Lankester Gardens entrance fee Orosi Valley tour Lunch Tour description On this tour, we will ascend all the way up to the crater of the highest Volcano in Costa Rica; Irazu Volcano. On our way, we will pass through fertile lands cultivated with all kinds of vegetables as we observe a lovely panoramic view. At the top of Irazu volcano, you will be able to observe the main craters and on clear days the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. As we descend to the city of Cartago we will stop at one of the most famous Cathedrals in the country; "La Basilica de los Angeles", to proceed to the Lankester Gardens, a University of Costa Rica Center for investigation that protects more than 800 species of orchids, bromeliads and other plants. We will continue to the Valley of Orosi where we will be able to visit one of the few remaining colonial churches and we will stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants.
