There is one out in escazu as soon as you get off the highway ( the first exit where the wallmart is ) it is where the bcr bank is in that shopping center all the way in the back there are two stores there one is for renting bikes the other is even further back behind the restaurant they sell shirts there hard to find and not cheap

As the previous post said yes there is one. I have been there before for the same reason as you. I've bought HD t-shirts for my neighbor from all over the world as he watches my house while I'm out mongering.
I'm arriving at SL on the 30th so if your in town then I'd split the cost of a ride there on the 31st or 1st as they should be open then.
I don't remember exactly what I paid to get to the shop from the lodge the last time I went. I hired one of the drivers from SL to take me and I think I paid around $40 or $50 RT. But like I said, I might be off a little so maybe someone here could give a more exact figure.
The t-shirts were rather expensive if I remember. I think around $50 or $60.
