Me and a buddy are heading to jaco in feb...staying at cocal, whats some of the better charter boats in the area...never been to jaco before...I know in tamarindo there's a bunch of the boats advertising in town...didn't know if jaco was like that or not

There is a big marina at Los Suenos in Jaco and advertisement in town to!

Bigger fleet, cheaper, 1 hr south by car in Quepos, same water, lots of on line web sites, just a thought.

When I fished out of Jaco, I used a tico captain named Tony. Very reasonable all-day charter 26 & 30' panga boats for $500 and less. I will try to find his cell number. He had a small flotilla of boats that operate off the beach... not the Los Suenos Marina.
There are very reasonable fishing boats in the Quepos marina as well.

Try Quepos call a guy named Wavey Dave a gringo I know. He books boats for all the captains in Quepos. From sport fishers to pangas. Tell him what you are looking for and he will hook yall up. Tight Lines
