Currently, the bite is SOUTH, way down towards Panama. Action has cooled off in the Quepos/Jaco area, and heavy winds have been churning up the seas to the North. Inshore activity has been hit or miss along the entire Pacific Coast. But some captains have reported decent catches of Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper & Jacks around inshore structure. If you're looking to target Billfish offshore, you might be in for a long boat ride, but there's always a chance for a hook-up. After all, it's Costa Rica! But if the seas are shitty, just stay inshore and do some bottom fishing or slow trolling and fill the coolers with snapper, pargo, and groupers. At least you'll eat good that night!
