I want to go to Nicaragua around Christmas. Anyone have any input on locations and travel opportunities? Thinking bus ride to Granada or Managua?

I have been thinking similar, except I already booked Dec 23 till around new years out in Carib in CR. If your days are flexible I might not mind volunteering as wingman. I can navigate and my espanish es mas o menos.

It is a brutal bus ride I read: http://insidecostarica.com/thetake/top_ ... comets.htm it made number five of the top ten…Eleven hours oof unless you know a different bus….It takes about that long for me to get to CR from Seattle, I am tempted to fly in to Nicaland.
