You asked for it - here goes.
As of Monday, May 21st:
The bite down South (around Panama) has slowed down, but the sailfish are still chewing real good around Quepos, Jaco & Los Sueños. And the Blue Marlin are in the mix also. There have been a couple reports of Striped Marlin showing up in the spread as well. The YellowFin tuna have been a little further offshore, but the crews that venture farther out have been getting their rewards for doing so. The Dorado (Mahi) have been hit or miss, depending on the tides and schools of bait. As always, bottom fishing is good. And several crews have reported multiple hook-ups with Rooster Fish within 2 - 3 miles of the beach. Action up North (Guanacaste) is already starting to heat up. Look for better numbers out of Tamarindo, Flamingo & Coco as we get further into the green season.
Good luck out there!
