I will be making a trip to a group of islands off the Atlantic Coast of northern Nicaragua sometime over the coming months.
The cost is not bad, but if I find another person (or two) to join me, the cost is quite reasonable all things considered. For 2 people, it would be $350 each. Even less for more than one person.
You would have to get to Peurto Cabezes, which can be done by either flying (165$) or a 20 dollar bus ride from Managua.
Conditions will be very basic. No hotels or anything, just a cot or something in a house of someone in the small indigenous community which lives there.
Travel, from port, will be in a small sail boat with a 3 man crew who will also cook and carry supplies.
Visits to remote villages can be done along the way if it is desired.
If anyone is interested, let me know.
