But,
an amigo stayed in Alajuela last trip and a Tico buddy took him to a bar one day in town for a cervaza. He notices a few ok-looking chicas in the place giving him the "look" and his tico buddy informs him they are available, probably for 10k, maybe 5k. He has a novia so wasn't in the market, didn't stay long or get the name of the place but just wondered if anyone else had been there or knew of it?

Super K lives in Alajuela with my harem. She tells me there are prostitutes everywhere there....both on the street and in the bars. She assures me that SHE was never one of them....but I do wonder how in the hell she learned to say "Phuck me" and "let's go" in english. She says many of her friends work the bars and the streets to make a little extra money.

Alajuela is about 25 minutes outside of San Jose, or about a $10 buck cab ride. It is the 2nd largest city in Costa Rica, and has a nice downtown area, with a Parque Central, and a town square. A number of bars and hotels ring the downtown area. You might wonder why the girls don't just go into San Jose, but many of them can't afford the cab fare....and the bus sucks. I am sure the prices there are much cheaper than in the gulch. I did not ask Super K, but I plan to ask her when the time is right...."cuanta cuesta por puta in Alajuela?"

She doesn't want me to be with any of them, so it will be tricky for her to show me. I asked her if she could find me a decent hotel in Alajuela to stay for one night when I am back with her in a month or so, and she said she would. I will do the recon, mi amigos. We shall see!

Not to stray from the topic of Alajuela but, I know in Cartago you can find action. In the streets and in the bars. I've been to a few bars there where action was present. Bar Royal comes to mind. The girls there were not worth looking at but maybe for 5K colones for full service you could bring yourself to do it. I've been to the downtown area of Cartago at all hours of the day and night. Seen many girls who were working the streets. Obviously, I already had company so I don't know how much etc.. Cartago isn't the place to be...it's a 5K colones taxi (6K if you are a solo gringo) Then tack on the 5K for the girl, not worth it at all. Just my little contribution to action in towns outside the gulch. As for Alajuela it is also a 5K colones taxi ride. I know of 2 DR regulars who live in Alajuela. Neither one of em worth a damn in bed. Astro, you must have gotten the pick of the Alajuela girls.

The bus from San Jose to Alajuela (or the other way) is not bad. 270 colonies. No reason to take a bus at all. There's lot of action in Alajuela you just need to keep your eyes open. No one advertises it like the Del Rey, etc.

You can get some scary action by the bus stop for about 2k colonies... but I would suggest you venture away from there!

Hey 99....you seem to know something about that action. Don't be coy here on this board. What do you mean scary??? Also, I know there is a hotel across the steet from the bus station. Can you take a little short time action there? Are there other hotels in the area?

I am with Alajuela 99, the bus service is not bad, as matter of fact one of the best services since they have 2 diferent bus lines, the red ones and the yellow ones, during day time there are buses every 15 or so minutes, Also they have non stop and regular. after midnight buses go out every hour or so. Heredia is the same and Cartago not bad either.

I have great Memories from Alajuela girls. never heard or got on hold of them but they were wild times at the place I used to manage.
