Sounds like a no-limit game. If there are friends at the game, they will join forces and beat you out of your money.
Simple really. They just keep betting, drive you off of your hand, and then they share later. You get pushed off of your hands. It is great when you are on a role, and getting gret cards, but generally the hands are over-bid to get you to fold, and they they check to the river, and one or the other collects. There is no dought, even without seeing the game that heavy cheating and teaming-up on the lone gringo player is happening. This happens in almost every game to some extent. If you try this tacktic on them you can expect a serious response also. So if it is for fun, and you have a few hundred to blow, then go for it. But expect if you play tight, and only bet when you have something, the field will know this and drop out before getting hurt. I like the game because you are playing other cheater, and not the house. I hear the house takes a 5% cut off of the pots, which can be high compaired to a flat rate on limit texas hold-em.
