I'm coming to CR for my 3rd time in early December. Spending the first half of my trip in Guanacaste, mainly Tamarindo and Playa del Coco, before heading to San Jose and Sportsmen's Lodge for the 2nd half of my trip.

I think I know the drill in San Jose pretty well, but I have never been to the Northwestern part of CR before. I would love to get some information about where to meet chicas in Tamarindo and Coco.

I have just a tiny bit. I took my girlfriend to Tamarindo 3 weeks ago. The Best Western has a party on Friday Nights between 9:30pm and 1:00am. A lot of locals seem to attend this party. I did notice two girls that looked like they 'work' sitting alone at two different tables. I noticed various local older fellows chating with them and then one of them left with one.


Thats all I got besides the road condition. Take the road from Belen to Tamarindo and NOT the road from Santa Rosa to Tamarindo. The road from Santa Rosa is about 3 miles of continuous potholes, 100% terrible, the worst I've seen in Costa Rica. The road from Belen to Tamarindo is 100% perfect.
