next week is there monthly tournament and this one is a $35,000 guaranteed event with even a guarantee of $12,000 for first place!

Here is my problem..... they send out promotions for the event around one month ago.... I believe I got my copy on the 10 of June. The advertisements include a listing of satelites for the event as being 15, 22, 29 of June and 13 de July. Last night I am relaxing in my hotel room and I notice a message from one of the poker room managers stating that the final satelite for the upcoming tournament was under way.... two problems, first of all what Satelite for July 8? Was never even advertised and second, what happened to the satellite on July 13. So I send a reply to the manager and get this response......

Mi amigo disculpa , que te haya dicho que era el ultimo en realidad , ya estoy acostumbrado a que las personas se molesten conmigo , gracias a las decisiones que toman los jefes , yo solo hago o posteo o respondo lo que ellos me dicen , según yo cuando entre, quedaba el del miércoles , pero a mi jefe directo se le ocurrió decir , que pusiera que era el ultimo , yo le dije que el del miércoles q? Y me respondió , que si se ponía que era el ultimo mucha gente iba a llegar hoy , me entiendes , yo soy una marioneta aquí , si va a ver satélite el miércoles , Ury mi jefe directo me dijo: x ahí del lunes que pusiera que gracias a la aceptación del satélite , entonces iba a ver uno mas que seria el del miércoles , espero que en verdad no te enojes con mi persona , pero como te digo , soy solo una marioneta de mis jefes , espero me disculpes.

For those who don't speak spanish he has said that he is a puppet for the owners and does what he tells them and he sent out the message last night under direct orders in an attempt to lure people in with the statement that it was the last satellite prior to the tournament.

So does that mean as the tournament begins that the guarantees of $35k and $12k are not going to happen because they decided to change it at the last moment?

I understand your concern,however if the guarantees aren't what they promise we can always walk. I will say that in the several tournies I've played there,all that was promised was devivered. If it is like all the other events,they had multiple satelites going on as the main event was starting. I guess that is just good business. See you there tomorrow night.
