I will be in Manuel Antonio on a day trip and would like to do some activities while I am up there. Has anybody heard of junglecoastjets.com? They have a combined jet-ski and snorkeling tour that looks like fun. If not, what is the best place to rent jet-ski's in CR whether it be MA or Jaco?

In Manuel Antonio, there is usually a guy by the main entrance that rents snorkel equipment but he wasn't there the last time I went. May think of bringing your own as MA is a good place to do that with the sheltered bays. Probably as cheap in the States at Wal-Mart as it would be to rent them here.

Don't think you can jet ski within the confines of the MA park itself but have seen people with Jet Ski's for rent on the large, public beach just outside MA but not sure that would be a good place to do it with the waves/rip tides there. For that, think more about Jaco and the beach inside Los Suenos. Here is a link to one place that rents them and another to the Jaco area 'official' website...

Never heard of the place you mentioned, but looks like a good tour they offer...

I've rented jet skis in both Jaco and Quepos (about eight years ago). In Jaco, I rented them from the Marriott (Los Suenos). In Quepos, I rented them from the Hotel Parador (they departed from the big 'dock' just south of the downtown area. They both cost about $110 at the time. A 'guide' goes out with the group. They were both equally enjoyable. From the Los Suenos, we went north and stopped at a small waterfall a few miles up the coast. From Quepos, we went a few miles south, to the islands, and stopped in a private cove near the Hotel Parador. It was great. I'd highly recommend them. Both trips lasted about three hours.

Buzzfla...that wasn't funny. My jet-ski trips were eight or nine years ago, with my favorita at the time, from Cartago.
