They opened yesterday at 2pm (game at 3:30) So any of you who play,and are bored this week,they had 2-3 tables last night. |

I believe VB was at the table with me and can back this up. A bad beat hand occurred and they paid out the bonus pool. Manager got word of it and had one or two days prior promised it would be going up but the accountant had been on vacation and only needed to verify the increase amount. Instead of waiting to verify, he paid out the difference on the spot. Even tracked down a local players and payed him out the difference the following night. |

yeah I met him the first few days he started ...as with most "new guys or manager " he was ....going to make changes ...what are your concerns ......and at first seemed like he was on the ball .......fast forward to my next 2 trips .... really the only change I can see that he has made (not poker play as I dont play at the DR) is the dealers and pit crew dont root out loud for the players to lose ...or show that they are mad when we win ) in the past if you hit a 4 of kind at tute ...everyone behind the tables would be pissed off .....the game would stop for 30 mins ..... If a player hits a flush or fullhouse the game still stops but it seems he has cut the down time in half, he has turned over at least 60% of the staff .....(my guess) As far as tute players goes , I have either the highest or second avg bet going on the table and play at least 4 or more hours a day (in this bad odds game for the player, but I enjoy and its part of my trip) but since that first time I talked with him , he has never even said hello to me , offer a comp or give a shit I play at his casino .....hey in the past I didnt expect anything from a hooker casino ...... But they hired him and he talked this big game with me ....then nothing ......wont even say hello to a player that that is on the tables everyday for a week.... now a buddy of his from vegas ....is sitting next to me everyday ....his play is the same or maybe a little more than mine ....he brags that he is getting a free room, free food ...from Pat ....looked like it was true as I see Pat kissing this guys ass ...and being all buddy buddy with him My past was gambling was a big part of my vacation .....my plan is less time on the tables ....more time chasing pu*sy |

chili-not picking on you but why would you expect comps from the small casinos in costa rica.If you enjoy gambleing do it without expecting anything .This is not vegas. |

Hey Mike .....would not even think of comps until new guy pat brought it up ....then his buddy at the table kept bragging about his free room and meals he was receiving from the casino manager .....look my first time in that casino 6 years ago I ask to talk to the casino manager ...they turned me on a pit boss that was on duty and told me they don't do comps ....end of story .....fast forward to this year ...New guy Pat is now the casino manager and tells me , he will start giving his good players some type of comps ....blah blah blah ......I could give a shit ...its a hooker bar and I play a bad game with bad odds due to the fact I can play and look at pu*sy .....after my first conversation with the casino boss (pat) he never even says hello ....less more offer any comps ....I don't give a shit ...its a hooker bar ...I get it ...but the reason I am posting this ....his friend (a player with the same avg bet as myself and who spends less hours on the table than me is getting the comps I was told was coming ) now do you understand my post ...I know its not vegas ..... Look at it this way ...since I stay at the sportmens 4 times a year .....and Bill tells me , if you come one more week this year I will comp 3 of your nights ....I book the trip and go to pay ....and no comp ...full price as I am leaving a guy checking out says ...'I love this place ....I came one more week this year and got 3 nights free .....this is how I viewed this guy .....you said he is your friend ...and to you my guess you would receive the same treatment as the guy I reported about .... What I posted is just the facts ....I been gambling for 30 years and know and understand just about everything there is to the gambling and casino business ....if his buddy that was getting the free room and meals would of kept his mouth shut ...I would not be writing this |

chili-i guarantee you that i will not be getting comped rooms or food.In 9 trips (8 at DR)i have received 20% off rooms 3 times once directly because of Pat(2006) and twice because they were running rainy season specials. If i was promised 3 free nights i would have paid the bill then inquired about it. I go to drink chase pu*sy and do a little gambling.If any discounts are thrown my way i accept them but do not look for them.Best way to get even is hit a royal flush at tute.
