Since there is no active gaming commission in CR,it is very difficult to get the payouts on machines in all the casinos. consequently you are subject to the whim of the casino as to what they pay out....AND THAT'S NEVER GOOD.

Went to the Horseshoe once and played the slots. I purchased $30.00 in tokens After a while i asked a floor man as to how the machine paid out and i was immediately surrounded by three goons looking at me menacingly. I accepted their answer and immediately went to cash in and got back $34.00. I know for sure i had half again as many tokens as i purchased. My cup started out half full and when i cashed out it was 3/4 full.

Better save your money for some hookers rather than waste them on slots in CR. Your chances of winning are next to nothing. In Vegas I always hear jackpot alarms going off and see action around slots, I can't remember ever seeing or hearing this in CR out of thousands of visits to casinos.

I've seen wingmen hit the HDR slots several times for a few hundred, one hit a jackpot at the casino (forget the name) next to Presidente for $1200

A buddy of mine won $1200.00 on a slot at the HDR next to the bar in the front lobby.

I have a buddy (old college buddy) who got hit by lightning when he was a K*D. Can't say any other friends ever got hit by lightning.
