| Post subject: | Knife Maker or Knife Stores in SJ? |
A friend of mine that is going to SJ with me in May collects knives. Are there any knife makers or stores that sell locally made knives in SJ? If there are any, I knew my fellow CRT brothers will know where they are at!!!! Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. |

Don't know of any knife makers but polini which sells guns, ammo ext has switchblades, hunting knives, ext. I am sure they can give you advice on a knife smith if it exists in San jose. There are mutiple locations for Polini in San Jose. ask any taxi driver. tux |

You can buy one from a strung out dirty street hooker for $5. But if you invite her to your room and don't pay her, she will slice your clothing. |

I know of 2 or 3 vendors, near the restaurants on the lower level of Mercado Central, that sell knives and machetes. I purchased several 3" - 5" folding knives over the years that were in the 10K - 18K Colones range. |
