I am curious if most of the cash games are played with USD or Colones. Also, where is the best place to find the juciest NL cash games in San Jose.

Thanks

Dollars. Most have $1/2 NL and $2/5 NL.

The higher limit games are at Fiesta in Ramada Herradura (on highway to the airport).

We have games in both dollars ($1/$2) and colones (¢200/¢500) at the Palma Real Poker Room, located just north of Sabana Park.

If you are looking for a juicy high stakes game, then our Wed. night $2/$5 NL Texas Hold'em game is the game to play - there is typically between $8,000 and $15,000 on the table, with the game starting around 8pm and lasting until 5am.

We are also starting an Omaha night this Sunday. Players can learn to play for free from 6pm to 7pm, and then we will allow players to practice with tournament chips from 7pm to 8pm. At 8pm we will open a ¢200/¢500 Pot Limit Omaha game, and a $2/$5 Pot Limit Omaha game.

Take the right fork; we're on the left between the Barcelo hotel and L'Olivo (an excellent Italian restaurant)
