I'll be arriving Sat. and will be getting out of town a few times. Most likely will use the tours out of the hotels. I know the temps. in SJ have been 60's and 70's, but what are they in the other areas where some of the tours go? Do you guys bring cheap ponchos or heavier rain jackets?

Thanks

Temps will vary. Their are basically three temperate zones in CR. The central valley is like a greenhouse surrounded by mountans. The temperature is constant between 60's night to 70's day. The beaches are very hot and humid think 90's. The mountains are cool 50's night 60's day with a lot of rain. The rain is warm, so bring a travel umbrella and/or a cheap rain poncho for excursions out of SJO.
