Breeders Cup 2009
I travel a lot and my love for the Horse races is well documented. I had the opportunity this past weekend to experience one of the greatest sporting spectacles, I've ever seen. Me and Gamlingman attended the 2009 Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita. It was in a word perfect.

1st off Southern California for big time events like that is incredible. The amount of classy gorgeous women, and the pure amount of cash pumped into these events make it simply surreal. The racing two days itself were incredible topped off by Zenyatta's world championship win in the Classic. The energy was like no other I have ever experienced for Horse Racing and its something I will remember for a long time.

We had the opportunity to meet a few celebrities along with way and posted the photos in the VIP Section VIP members without ladies. Joe Torre, Don Zimmer, Actor Mel Brooks, and the highlight of the trip was we ran into Mike Smith who rode Zenyatta on Saturday night chatted with him a bit and he took a photo with us as well.
Thanks Gman enjoyed it mi amigo!

Just a great trip now I have to get back to handicapping some games before you guys kill me, it's been a horrible year sorry, doing my best just can't seem to get on that one run I need to get to positive numbers for 2009, but I'm trying.

good to hear you had a great time !!! I was looking for your picks for the races (as I feel that is what you do best ) as far as 2009 goes, you are done ....my guess you will be -100 units by dec 1st. The way you bet the world series was a joke ...skipping the lock games and puting a play on the yanks ...when they were big dogs (you are all messed up not smelling that rat) anyway ....maybe you should put out a poll, and see how many members follow your picks or really care .....maybe your time could be used better for site....maybe a section where you pm members and ask what they like best about san jose.....restaurant reviews,or something other than picking games and reporting loses...

enjoyed the photos.....GMan must have know some inside people for thoses seats ...on that day !!! crt that must of been a real treat for you (I have friends that would kill to spend a day like that) what were the results for the day $$...??? lots of fav's on sat and big dogs on friday...still would like to see you set up some type of contest for picks (for members) and the member with the best % gets a shot at you on superbowl sunday with all the prop bets ....winner gets a few nights in sportmens or the dunn inn...my guess both might go for it....seems like bk tuna is trying to promote his new place ....and this might help !!!! Chili, I certainly appreciate the feedback and your right I should have smelled the Rat with the Petite Dog, but being a Yankee fan sometimes I get completely off base and I hate laying big numbers in baseball (Odds) so baseball was not berry berry good to me this year.

The rest of the year I have been a little off but to be honest everyone has down turns and this is my first in 5 years so I guess I was do. How do you possibly account for losing these three games Sunday?

Giants Laying 5 up 6 with .21 seconds to Go The Corner is in Cover 2 Defense the Safety is in Cover NOBODY - Hence SD TD Loser

Detroit plus 11 with ball inside Seattle 30 .30 seconds to go driving for winning TD Picked off returned for TD lose by 12 .21 seconds to go.

Under 41.4 Jacksonville / KC 17-6 with 4.26 seconds to go... Jack scores 24 -6 - KC Drives down scores TD 1.01 remaining 24-13 Recover onside kick Score again last play of game plus 2 pt conversion 24-21

I CANT MAKE THIS SHIT UP I know it all evens out in the end MY ASS, LOL, No phucking way on earth those 3 things happen if I'm on the other side NEVER!

But I'll do my best to get back on the winning side. Perhaps a trip to CR and getting Laid would help?

Back to the Breeders Cup, Yes G-man knows some serious Dudes and I don' t know how nor do I want to know. I know the Part owners of Negligee Sovereign Racing Group sit in front of him at the Giants Games for over 30 years but they didn't get him the tickets in fact he got them a table in the Turf Club and they re-paid him by getting us into the ESPN kickoff party at the LA LIVE in downtown LA at the Staples center Thursday Night.

I know he knows the English people who own Conduit (Winner Saturday and last year as well) and their group was with us the entire two days. And the Gio Ponti Group was with us for two days as well. Funny thing is they people simply assume we are loaded to the gills with Cash, but it's all about persona, they think your loaded you play the part and they accept you as equals even if we couldn't buy a pair of the shoes they are wearing LOL.
Anyway we did very well as We had California flag with all the exotics, we had of course Conduit and all the exotics and the owner of Gio Ponti said he would run a huge race so we loaded up Gio / Zenyatta / All and scored big in the classic. So 14 races maybe 4 winners and we come out ahead maybe paid for 1/2 the trip, but breaking even and having the time of our lives was all I was looking for so we were ahead of the game.

Looking forward to some Months in Florida this year at Gulfstream, and of course Florida Derby. We met Snooky last year and they had a Sky Box so of course G-man now is saying we have to get a Sky Box for derby day, so if anyone is in town let us know.

I'll do my best to try to get us back to even for the balance of the year. In the Interim I am reliving a great trip!

PS: I am sure if you work up a contest of some sort Admin will present it to some sponsors, if you want to come up with the specifics please send them along.

ChiliMike:
After a "Juice" only Saturday Sunday was much better for us cutting down to 3 NFL Games, 2 Hoops and both NBA & NCAA

6-0-1 with a back door push Green Bay S.F. Some books had 6.5 got a winner on our side but we coudln't get off +6 so I'll take the sweep and a good positive for the 1st time in a while.

So may games so many NCAA games that were never board teams and so early in both basketball seasons it does make it difficults to zero in on the games that count.

Regardless hope that this this is a start to a Hot run towards the end of the year.
