Post subject:  WHAT ARE THE HOTTEST PLACES TO DANCE.......And
Dance from disco to salsa??I am a Dancin' fool.. Where are the suggested dancing places in San Jose, as well as in Escazu??
I've scored lots of chicas this way.
Any suggestions??

Castros in Barrio Mexico is my favorite for Salsa. Short cab ride from Gulch. Very well run place,

If you do a search you will find many posts about the places popular among the monger crowd.

On a personal note, I've been to:

- Vertigo's in Centro Colon (trance/rave)
- Club Castro's in Barrio Mexico (salsa/merengue/cumbia/vallenato/bachata)
- Friends' at El Pueblo (but only on a Tuesday - reggae, hip hop, reggaeton)
- Club Gaira (Latin Music, some house/trance/hip hop) in Escazu
- and of course Key Largo, the default option :D Latin music every night, opens at 10 PM)

There are many other places; just do a search.

Found the hot place to dance and meet lots of "CIVILIAN ticas" Its CLUB GAIRA in Escazu. Gets going @ 11:30 PM.. reminds me of a cool Studio 54 Style.

Its a happenin' Place... $10.00 to get in, drinks are about $ 3-6 dollars, and they serve food as well.. Stay away from the "reserved tables, around the sides" which are $200.00,unless you are with a large group. The place has a nice big bar to hang out in. The VIP area upstairs is for more mature folks 30's and up, but it costs more and its no big deal. The young Ticas are all over the place. We sat with a few Hooters gals, Caliente!!!., Pura Vida!!.
