For anybody who is interested... this is tomorrow night, starts at 8pm. It's something different, I've never heard of it. Maybe it's a CR thing. Nixon explained it to me, and I'm still kind of confused as to the specifics, but I think I understand it. Basically, it's 2 tournaments running at the same time. But really it's one tourney, but with 2 prize pools. Everybody has to buy-in for $55. Then you have the option to buy-in for the $160 also. You can play only the $55 tourney. Then the last 3 (or however many they pay) people standing from $160 tourney win that pot. So, if you pay the $160 buy-in, you could win money even if you don't finish top 3 in the whole thing. The winners of the whole tourney split the $55 buy-ins. I will most likely be there. |
