Post subject:  atv tours

I am headed in on the 26th of June with two rookies who want to do the atv tour.I have seen good reviews of the company in the vip discount section,anyone used them recently? Any info concerning clothing,footwear, as well as terain ,mud ect would help.

If you are talking about ATVToursCostaRica, they are very good. We got a group (4 in our group). They picked us up from the Clarion on time.

The ATVs were in good condition and maintained well. My advice on clothing is to wear shorts and sturdy shoes. He will prove helmets and jackets.

Your shoes will get muddy. The terrain pretty much covers everything. I believe they were planning to open new routes when I was there.

Its sure is lots of fun though.

I used to run a Honda Motorcycle Dealership and give this operation "two thumbs up" from everything from the transportation, the ride, terrain, food, and ownership. Really,, a guy from Amsterdam running a ATV tour in Costa Rica,,a good recipe in my book!

Some basic advice, get the larger 350 semi-automatic version,,,and,, bring a pair of shoes that you can throw away after the ride. If it rains,,its even better!

Cary, the mad dutchman, who runs this tour is a great guy, and the tour is really first class. I recomend wearing long pants if you can. If you get to ride on the new trails, they are narrow and the jungle can bite your legs. Some sort of closed toe shoe (not flip flops) is mandatory, but your normal tennis shoes should be fine.
