I did a search both here and on the web but no luck. My wing man is looking to jump out of a perfectly good plane. That's not my game but I figure I would ask for him. Does someone have some info?

I'm assuming he hasn't jumped before? If not there's no drop zones in CR and he should consider a reputable DZ in the states for lessons and safety's sake. If he's experienced and has his own rig I'm sure it would be easy enough to find a Tico pilot to let him bail out someplace over CR. :) Always wanted to make a beach jump myself, but will settle for hang gliding in Rio off Pedra Bonita and landing on São Conrado beach one day. I think there is still a paraglide tour in Jaco, blue skies! http://www.dropzone.com/

There is a Sansa or Nature Air in the there somewhere I just can't think of one. :P

Mud,
I have never heard of anybody skydiving in CR. I don't think any companies offer skydiving tours either.

Bungee jumping is a option for your friend
I done it in costa rica.
$90 for 2 jumps with pick up and drop off service to your hotel.
They also give you a DVD of your jumps.
Takes up half a day.

I am not sure if there one solid company either. A few months back, I heard something on the news.

Her is a drop zone information

ESTERILLOS DZ, mid-pacific side of C. Rica, 2 hrs car ride from San Jose, P.O. Box 1749-1000, San Jose, Costa Rica, 506-257-5822 (Phone/Fax), E-Mail: cemarino@sol.racsa.co.cr

Give them a call or email them. They might know who does it.

Hope it helps

I used www.bungee.co.cr and they also gave me along with my dvd a lifetime pass(card) for $20 jumps, but you must be with a new person for the $20 jump.

It was way worth for me I might do it again in May

They call that the addict club. Check it out on their website.
