Does anyone out there know of a reliable source to get current fishing reports from the Pacific side??

All of the sites I have encountered seem to be quite dated.

Thanks,

El BB

Hey.... sphincter !!!! Just PM me and I'll let you know what's happening!!! I am in contact with my partner in Flamingo at least 2 or 3 times per week, and I always ask him about the latest fishing info.

This past weekend:
In the South - the inshore bite is on. They're still getting daily shots at marlin and sailfish, but lots of inshore charters. Catching lots of big Roosters, Cubera's, Jack's and Tuna.
In the central part of the country, the sailfish bite is starting to turn on. Reports of 10 - 12 sails a day from some of the boats out of Jaco / Quepos.
Northern Pacific - Lots of Mahi and Tuna. Marlin bite is still good, but the sailfish bite has not turned on yet. Bottom fishing is good for Grouper, Snapper & Rabbitfish.

BB, Is this what you were looking for ?!?!?!

Easy on the adjectives cabin boy  !!!

I knew you would be on this post like stink on s**t.

Its only fair to share this info in a public setting.....Helps to build up some excitement and anticipation in the fishermen types out there.

I sure hope you got over that irritating bladder control issue,
those adult diapers sure must get sticky at sea

If anyone would like to coordinate some offshore fishing charters. I usually go down there solo and it would be cost effective to put a group together. I usually go down every 6 weeks.

I'm sure glad some of you guys catch fish in Costa Rica.

For some reason, my name is Skunk Ass when I fish there. I have tried the Carib side up by Tortuguero, and down by Coracovado National Park, as well as Quepos. Zip. Nada. Hasta la vista, pesca. Last time I fished Quepos, I charted a freaking big game fisher all for myself. I figured that I didn't want any competion on the deck. I ended up throwing in the towel early and nursing my wounds with Imperials and shots back at SL...

I'm going back to my regular haunts in Baja California where the fishing is wide open, the Coronas are ice cold, and the Mexicanas are smoking hot!

Got the word yesterday that they are killing it in the Jaco, Herradura area. But the action is happening like 40 miles offshore. So, as my buddy put it, the bargain hunters wont be in luck because the small boats cant get out that far. The boats are reporting large numbers of sails, marlin, tuna and mahi....... Wish I could get out there, even though I know jack shit about fishing....

Make sure Barrachito Bombero remembers to wear his sunscreen this time. We don't want him to look like a lobster again for the chicas.

Hell no. My Sicilian skin will usually get to about "medium-well" when I'm on the water, but it goes away in a day or so.

Hey.... who the hell are you calling Pucho Gusto !?!!!!???!? :P
