I've been down to the Golfito area 3 times. The first time was with a couple of amigos 8 years ago, and the nightlife did not look too inviting-- really rough around the edges The next two times I brought my own. A lot of the towns in CR have Zona Rojas, Quida Se - watch out - in all of them. Funky could be an understatement... |

Very limited action in Golfito. If you need company, I would bring it from SJO. However, a ride over to Paso Canoas will provide some action. Most of the action is east of the border crossing/bus station. It's not SJO but it will do the trick. Many Dominicans there. dapanz1 |
