Any hotel recommendations?

Thanks

The beach is very nice and has a cresent shape with coconut trees and lush foliage. The break is great if you surf. I suspect that surfcasting could be good if you brought a rod and bought some cut bait or used salt water lures. There are cute little funky restaurants in town and a number owner operated small motels. I can't think of any by name at the moment. However, I will bet that you could just show up and make your pick on the spot. I pretty much like the entire beach front that starts south of Limon for then next 25 miles or so. The names of the little towns or beaches change every couple of miles, but it is all nice and very Carribean like. Take binoculars. There are monkeys, treesloths and many birds. It does rain a lot in the green season. That area has not been ruined like Tamarindo and other places with too many corporate owned hotels.

I will be there this weekend, so I'll just stop and get a room. I can't find anything on the net, and the ones I found haven't answered me since I wrote them last week. In know it's CR time, but this is ridiculous.

Thanks

Orange-
My guess is that you will want to spend 1 to 2 days max here, before moving on to PV

Orange...the younger crowd hangs out down the road in Puerto Viejo. And the beaches south of PV are better in my opinion. Check out both areas and give us an update. Have fun.

Oh...and there is an immigration checkpoint on the road either before or after Caujita (cant remember). Assume you are taking a chica so make sure she has her documentation...and is legal  .

The immigration checkpoint on the road is also to check for illegral drug smugglers that move product up from Panama to the north. Also, if you are driving, observe the traffic laws. Every cop in the area has a hand held radar gun.
