How far from SJO?

Damn, Bomber, you want everything!

I'm guessing it is about 45 km from downtown. You go by way of Escazu and Santa Ana, which are west of downtown. You then head up into the mountains to the SW of that, passing through Ciudad Colon (home of the University of Peace). It is supposed to be a very scenic drive, though I have never been up there myself.

Hey Mente
When I was in San Jose last, I found a small "factory" that made great cigars. I cant remember it's name, but it was about 8 blocks south of Avendia Centralia and a few blocks east of the Presidente. It was on a little side street in what looked like a residential area. I rang the doorbel, and older grandmother answered, invited me into what looked like her living room. There, on display where 100's of bundles of freshly made cigars. Just next to her house in the "factory" where 2 or three rollers are hard at work making great smokes out of Nico tobacco and Connecticutt shade wrappers. I forgot the name they banded on the cigars but they were very well made, and quite good.

I am a long time cigar smoker/afficienado. I live in Tampa, the cigar capital of the world, and have smoked some of the best there is. The Costa Rican's that I got from that place, were on a 1-10 scale, very good 7-8's

Hope you can find it and reccomend it to the other cigar smoking mongers

You are talking about the Pintor family.
The little old lady is Uve and I have been doing business with her for years, and yes, she invites tou into her living room which is loaded with fine Costa Rican and Nicaraguan puros.
She is located on Ave 24 , 25 mtrs east of Calle central.
If you want to get there by taxi, call Juan at 390-2609 and tell him to take you to DonGordo`s cigar lady.

Hey McMonger, First of all, why wasn't I offered any of these cigars when you got back from your last trip??? Secondly, do you think if I went down there and serviced the old lady, in her living room/factory, she would give me a price break for OUR cigars?? Kinda like the butt ugly girl at the cigar factory up here in Tampa I have to service to get US good deals on Fuente cigars???? Come On McMonger it's your turn at the plate..You should have done the right thing and hooked up the old lady with some McMonger C*ck and hooked me up with some good stogies..The trademan..
