Post subject:  Tattoo shops ?????

Hi
Anyone ever get any tattoo work done in Costa Rica? If so where? I will be in San Jose This Friday and Jaco next week. 3 years ago there was a shop next to the BB in Jaco but is was gone last year when I was down. Any info on the location and price comparison to U.S. shops would be great. If I get drunk enough I might get the CRT logo on my neck..... That would be one way to find me at the party.....

Thanks Rock

In San Jose, need a tattoo? Well tattoo 506 body piercing located on calle 11 & Avenida 10 is now a proud VIP sponsor and all VIP members will now receive a 10% discount on any workdone there. Maybe you don't want anything done, but you never know what that favorite Tica, Nica or Chica might want. Stop on by and don't forget to show your VIP Card!

Talk to Jessica, head Bartender at DR. Usually there during the daytime. she and her husband are into the tattoo scene big time, including traveling to US for conventions. My friend Dirty Jeff who hangs out at SL has someone in San Pedro he swears by. I will call him.

What kind of work? does he do any portraits, what does he specialize in. My guy moved to Idaho and grew a long beard and I need to finish my back. The thought of paying in something other than beer and pizza sucks. Any idea on costs for larger work.
Thanks

Heard that was run by some Columbian guys. Seen their work and it looks good. Not sure what they charge.

That is about the going rate in the states for BW work. You do something custom or did you pick some flash that they had in the shop?
