Does anyone have any experiences with realtors in San Jose. Any recommendations?
I saw the sponsor sticky for Blue Marlin Realty and will talk to them, but wanted to find out if you guys had other suggestions.

I have a suggestion: DO NOT USE ONE!

You don't need a realtor to buy property in Costa Rica. Realtors are just there to satisfy the Gringo market. They are not part of the CR system for purchasing real estate

Ticos do not use realtors, if you want a good deal, you should not use one either.

What you do need is a good lawyer! Lawyers process real estate transactions, not real estate agents in CR.

Make friends with locals, do your own research, hire a taxi to drive you around and you will save a ton of money!
