Any suggestions on Zip line Canopy Tours out of SJ? I found one called Sky Trek that looks good.
Thanks

Had the chance to do the San Lorenzo Canopy Tour with a Tica friend. We had a fantastic & fun time. I can personally attest to the quality of this tour; a good day-trip out of SJO.

booked through the Hotel Presidente while staying there. Here's a link. Cheers!

I tried the new zip line today in Parque Metropolitano La Sabana. It is only a 10 min. ride from the gulch and was really fun for only $ 20.00 The canopy urbano is in charge and they have 8 lines with 1 long one over the lake. Say Hi to the guides Pamela, Fabian , and Cristian . A good way to see the park and kill a few of those daytime hours. Take Care and have fun, H

I'd recommend a canyoning tour over the zip lines. Booked it through the Presidente. Mix of zip lines/ rapelling down waterfalls/horse back riding.

I would suggest booking tours through either Jimmy Diaz or Juan Carlos who both work independently out of the Sportsmens Lodge and can be contacted there. I know Jimmy's number is 506 380 8132. They both have their own private vans and will coordinate all tour activities and their rates are very reasonable. They can hadle groups and also make a great taxi service in and out of the airport. Not shilling for them, simply have had to many good experiences using them over 12 trips to CR.

I know this is old but a lot of post come up when I do a search for Zip Line Tours. Any up date on Zip Lines? Which would be the best bet. We'll be staying at the SL for a couple of days and we are already doing the ATV tour. Thinking maybe this or rafting on a Saturday.

The one in Miramar is great, you can combine it with a trip to Jaco.
