Hey CRT'ers,

I need some advice/help from those of you who know people in CR...

Due to flight planning, it MAY be that my new wingman arrives 12 hours before I do on April 26th. He's never been outside the US, doesn't speak a lick of Spanish, and has never mongered, but wants to start...

If I am able to get on the standby flight in the morning, we're good, but if not, I would like to help him get to ZB, where I'm sure I he can manage for himself, since we're staying there. Does anyone know of a reliable person whom I can call/email last minute (in case I don't get on the standby) that can come, pick him up, and take him to ZB without him getting fleeced, robbed, etc?) Preferably someone who speaks descent English...

Also, if any of you are in ZB on Thursday, and he's alone, could ya take him under your wing for the day?

If you don't make it at the same time, have him take an orange taxi to ZB. Unless he has zero street smarts or common sense, he should be able to do it alone.

Have him take a print out with the address, directions (if possible), and phone number to hand the driver. Once he pays at the booth, they are on their way. The cost is now $18-19.
