I am picking Florida to win the whole thing. Most articles that I've read have talked about how hard it is to repeat as national champions in basketball. However I think it will be MORE amazing if Florida wins the national championship in BOTH football and basketball. |

Does anyone know if any team has EVER done what Florida has a good chance of doing? They could win both the football and basketball national titles in the same school year. |

I'm not trying to be a smart ass (for once). ![]() I almost made the same mistake Orange. Then I thought about it, knowing it was so recent, VB certainly knew about 2006. A more careful read of the question: Quote: Does anyone know if any team has EVER done what Florida has a good chance of doing? The same school year would be 2006 in football and 2007 in basketball. |

Good catch. I thought that I must've misunderstood the question. You are correct. |
