Kosher and 8 others were driven from san jose, through san pedro, and all the way to the east side of KR for whitewater rafting yesterday. Kost of trip was 95 inkluding transportation, breakfest and lunch. We left at 6 30 am.

The rapids were awesome, klass 3-4 they klaimed, kosher thinks more like 2-3, maybe the higher rapids and deeper holers we hit were pushing klass 4, they say 3-4 to sell more tickets. Due to recent rains and floods the river was very high, and fast, so these 2-3 rapis aktually were pretty challenging. 3 boats went out, 2 with 6 and one with 5, bekause kosher was the only one who had experience WWR he was stuck up front in the boat with 5.

Kosher was jealous of the raft guide, dope smoking 40 something Kalifornia rich trust fund K*D, has been living here 5 years off pops and just hangs out. makes no $, but he doesnt need to.

Kosher went through many rapids such as La Bonita, Dos montanas, el serpione, y many others. A guy fell out of boat, This was one of the VERY RARE times in his life that kosher immediately thinks of someone else, in a split second kosher dropped his oar in boat, leaned over other side, grabbed the trempling and skared new Zealander by his life vest and pulled him in.

Overall the trip was fun, and on the way back the main highway was flooded, so it took about 3 hours going through the tiniest of towns and seeing the kountryside. Kosher saw homes and farms, kows and lettuce heads growing, tomatoes, banana and apple trees and much more.

Anyway, that was a nice way to get away from san jose for a day and see nothing but greenery and get splashed with refreshing water. Kosher may on sunday do the other river, supposedly a true klass 4. Kosher shall see.

KosherCowboy: Will be at the Kopakabana tonight

Hey there Kowboy,

I just joined and see that we'll be in country during the same time [I'm arriving March 14]. Lets hook-up. I'd like to know more the outfit that you used for the rafting. My name is Sean. If you forward your phone#, I'll give you a call.

Kosher can't remember the name of the outfitter, but the girl at the tour desk of the presidente arranged it. If you email the presidente and ask for the # of the tourist desk, you can ask the girl about the one day trip for 95 bucks. I am sure it will be the same one, Kosher plans to return to the rapids in a few weeks, PM kosher if you wish to co-ordinate a trip.

KosherCowboy: Hopes he can buy Cialis in SJ, it just hit the shelves in the border town of Nuevo laredo where kosher spent his saturday night visiting brothels

adventurasnaturales is the outfitter Kosher went with. Kosher recognizes the picture of their main office on their web page where we picked up tons of toys to drop at a school on the way there. Two of their river guides, Kurt and Kevin are two of the best Kosher has rode with. Kosher is excited in anticipation of more rapids.

KosherCowboy: Leaves in less than 3 weeks

Pacuare river was rated by a few rafting magazines as a top 5 in the world whitewater trip. I went 2 years ago and had a blast.

Thanks Mongerman. KK: I'm reserving Tuesday, March 16 for the one day river trip. Think that would work for you?
